Restaurant: Audubon Boston (reopened)

Another picture post, this time from the recently re-opened Audubon. I've eaten there before the owner change/renovation (? not sure what happened) but the food is now even better!

Dessert Nachos?? - Sunset Cantina, Boston, MA

Happy Monday! Today, I am posting a very short essay/review.

Actually, I realized I had these pictures and wanted an excuse to share them, so I'm just adding some words. You don't really have to read them, though I'm actually hilarious so you probably should.

In this post, I answer a very important question: how many drinks should you drink before deciding to order something called Dessert Nachos at the Sunset Cantina in Boston?

Restaurant: S&S Deli & Restaurant, Cambridge, MA

S&S Diner is a super cute diner in Inman Square. It's been around since 1919, which makes it a classic. They serve breakfast all day but are still pretty classy.

Restaurant: Super Fusion, Brookline, MA

Super Fusion Cusine, I'm totally over you. Yup, that's how I'm starting this review.

Super Fusion is a chain (?) of sushi restaurants int he Boston area. There are a few of them in Watertown, Cambridge, and Brookline. This review is for the Brookline location. I have also been to the Porter Square location, but have not been there recently. It's unclear whether they all have the same owner or if they are run completely independently--they used to share a website, but recently, the websites have split.

Restaurant: The Mission Bar & Grill, Boston, MA (St. Patrick's Day Weekend Special)

Backward signs! I forgot to get one from the outside, but it's all good. You all can read backwards, right?
Though St. Patrick's Day is full of culture and religion in Ireland, for us silly Americans, it's a holiday that has things to do with (1) the color green/pinching friends, (2) corned beef, and (3) beer/booze. In the spirit of the American version of this holiday, last week, I went to the Mission in Brigham Circle.

Restaurant: BurgerFi, Boston, MA

New restaurant alert! BurgerFi is a new fast-food burger restaurant in the Boston University area. It's a national chain that is part of the "better burger" movement. The concept seems to be centered around environmentally sustainable practices (recycling, low carbon footprint, etc) and the chain claims to make burgers that are made from high quality ingredients and that don't have iffy additives. Also of note--the chain sells beer and wines, which is rare for a fast-food restaurant.

Restaurant: Gari Japanese Restaurant, Brookline, MA

The Gari Japanese Restaurant is one of many Sushi restaurants within about a 3 block stretch on Harvard Ave in Coolidge Corner, Brookline. It's a very small and cozy space with a nice atmosphere. The restaurant is usually rather quiet, which makes it a great spot for dates.

Restaurant: The Longwood Grille & Bar, Boston, MA

The Longwood Grille & Bar is a small restaurant located inside the Longwood Galleria food court. Though it's not the highest quality restaurant ever, it's one of the few sit-down restaurants in the Longwood medical area. The restaurant is not too busy, frequented by hospital staff and students in the area.

Restaurant: The Yard House, Boston, MA

The Fenway area is full of bars, but I most often find myself at the Yard House. The Yard House is a national chain, though the Fenway one is the first in Boston. With their wide selection of beers on tap and a decent food offering, the Yard House has become one of my favorite spots to go out.
