Restaurant: Soul Fire, Allston, MA

Do you like meat-foods? Yes? If so, you'll probably like Soul Fire in Allston, MA. They have all of the standard BBQ fare, and most of it is pretty tasty. If you can handle oversized servings of meat or are with some big eaters, try their samplers, which are a great way to sample all their food.

Selection of delicious and awesome sauces.
Soul fire is pretty relaxed--classic casual meets trendy Allston. The food quality and prices rival the nearby restaurants, which represent many cuisines across the US and across the world.

Baby back ribs with coleslaw, rice&beans, cornbread, pickles.

Half chicken with collard greens, beans&rice, cornbread, pickles. Totally judging me for eating so many wings over Superbowl weekend. :/
The half chicken was tender and juicy, though a bit salty from the brine. The ribs wee tasty and seasoned well. The collard greens were nice, with small amounts of bacon and tasted vaguely mapley. The rice and beans were... rice and beans. Kind of boring rice and beans.

Overall, the food here is very good and reasonably priced. The sauces, made in the store, are absolutely wonderful.

PS: The beer is not PBR--it's a Sam winter. PBR is pretty good with BBQ, but I can't bring myself to actually pay for it.
